أخرج البخاري ومسلم من حديث عثمان بن عفان رضي الله عنه قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول:" من بنى مسجدًا يبتغي به وجه الله عز وجل بنى الله له بيتًا في الجنة"، وفي رواية: "بنى الله له مثله في الجنة".

Al-Bukhari and Muslim narrated on the authority of Uthman ibn Affan, may Allah be pleased with him, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, say: “Whoever builds a mosque seeking thereby the face of Allah Almighty, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.” In another narration: “Allah will build for him the like of it in Paradise.”
